Jesus is the only way to heaven.
I would’ve been offended by this statement when I was a universalist, which is a term that means you believe that everyone goes to heaven. I thought that as long as you were “a good person,“ you would go to heaven. I thought that all paths led to God. I held the heretical belief that Jesus was an “ascended master” (a new age term) who was equal with deities of other faiths. I thought you were a bigot if you didn’t believe that everyone was goi…ng to Heaven.
I was so wrong! Jesus is nothing like the deities of other faiths. He’s the only one who died for the sins of the world. He’s the only one with an empty tomb. The others are either dead in the ground, or they were mythological or demonic spirits. Jesus is the only Son of our Creator. He is the mediator between humanity and God, the only one who offered to repair our broken relationship with God. Jesus is the only one who was willing to suffer in excruciating pain, to be crucified in our place. He’s the only one that was raised from the dead and currently sits at the right hand of God. He’s the only one that offers the hope of salvation to those who believe in him.
In the new age, there is a “false Christ” that the real Jesus warned about (Matthew 24:24-26; Mark 13:22). People meet this false Christ in New Age settings, such as during Reiki sessions. He is a demon pretending to be Jesus. This false Christ tells you that you can do whatever you want, as long as you are happy and positive. The false Christ is a demon in disguise. He leads people away from the true Jesus and the Bible. He lies and says that the Bible has been tampered with. He lies and says that we can go to heaven no matter what. The false Christ leads people to hell, without any compassion or mercy.
For those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, if Jesus is calling you out of the New Age, run to him! We live in a period of history when a lot of people are tragically losing their lives. Please get out of the New Age while there is still time. Get down on your knees and repent sincerely, and ask God to forgive you. Throw away every shred of New Age items, no matter how much you like those items or how much they cost. Get them out of your house. Start reading the Bible every day, and pray today for Jesus to be the Lord and Savior of your life.
